Pop up restaurant Baut opened its doors at the former location of V&D on Rokin in Amsterdam. Six months ago, following two successful locations for Baut on Wibautstraat and Stadionplein, Baut moved temporarily to the Amsterdam Zuidas. Now it is time for another new location. From Friday 15th July Baut will be open seven days a week for lunch, drinks and dinner. Coffee at the new location is, of course, provided by Buscaglione.
In 2012 chef Michiel van der Eerde opened Baut as a pop up restaurant on Wibautstraat in Amsterdam, in the building previously occupied by Het Parool. This realised a childhood dream for the creative chef. “We believe in temporary concepts instead of venues with high investment and rent” recalled Van der Eerde. Van der Eerde worked previously as corporate chef for IQ Creative and for the starred restaurants Bokkendoorns, Amstel Hotel and Oud Sluis.
Following the great success of Baut was Bautzuid and Baut Zuidas (photos underneath) and now the following adventure on Rokin.
